Realtor.com® Property Listings for New England Are Refreshed Every Fifteen Minutes

Consumers searching for real estate in New England have a competitive advantage when negotiating for properties found on Realtor.com, the #1 homes-for-sale-site. Updated information on property listings is fed to Realtor.com by MLS Property Information Network every 15-minutes, delivering the freshest and most up-to-date information to home buyers searching online for real estate.
"We know nothing’s more frustrating than researching properties online and finding you’re basing a decision on old or out-of-date information," says Realtor.com President, Errol Samuelson. "Through our 15-minute MLS data update program, consumers searching on Realtor.com for properties in New England now have instant access to comprehensive information in as close to real time as possible. This means a seller’s home will be visible to potential buyers faster and buyers will be able to find new homes or take advantage of price changes faster.” About half of the 4.5 million+ property listings on Realtor.com are currently updated four times an hour. The average listing on Realtor.com is refreshed at least 13 times a day.

To stay on top of the market, New England home buyers searching on Realtor.com can opt-in to receive emails or RSS feeds that deliver immediate updates when a property matching a buyer’s saved search criteria is listed, as well as when price adjustments or new photos are added to a listing of interest. Later this year, Realtor.com will begin time stamping every listing so consumers know exactly when the listing was last updated.
