Ronald Rusin Appointed MLS PIN 2009 Chairman

MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) has appointed Ronald S. Rusin, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Right Choice of Fall River as its Chairman of the Board of Directors. He succeeds Michael Jewell of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage who served as Chairman for the past 3 years.

Rusin has been in the real estate industry for 22 years. He has served on the MLS PIN Board of Directors for 9 years including as Vice-chairman in 2008 and Treasurer for the preceding 3 years. A member of the Fall River Association of REALTORS®, Rusin has served as President, and has been very involved with several of their committees. On the state level, he served as Regional Vice President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® for 3 years representing both Fall River and New Bedford, and was chosen as the Massachusetts REALTOR® of the year in 2004.

Asked about his new role as MLS PIN Chairman, Rusin states, “I am proud to have been elected, and it is amazing how great it is to be a part of MLS PIN representing approximately 27,500 agents from Massachusetts and other parts of New England. Coming from one of the smallest regions in MA, I think my election shows that one’s voice is always heard within the company.” He adds, “I am excited about the company’s current coverage and its few boundary lines, both of which give MLS PIN customers the opportunity to provide clients with professionalism, extensive data, and optimum exposure for their listings. I hope, as Chairman, we will strive towards 100% Massachusetts coverage for the benefit of our customers, as well as for the benefit of consumers buying and selling homes.”

In addition to selling real estate full-time and managing approximately 18 sales agents under RE/MAX Right Choice, Rusin is a builder and property manager. A resident of Swansea, he is also involved with his local community.
