New England multiple listing service first MLS to sign up for Zillow Listings Feed Program
Leading real estate Web site Zillow.com and MLS Property Information Network today announced a partnership to feed listings from the New England area MLS to Zillow.com on a daily basis. This partnership initiates the first participation at the MLS level in Zillow’s Listings Feed program, which launched in November 2007. To date, the Zillow Listings Feed program has attracted several top brokerages for participation, and now allows all customers of MLS PIN to automatically gain free marketing exposure for their listings on one of the most-visited real estate sites in the country, while providing Zillow’s users with a more robust search experience. ...more

New England's largest multiple listing service uploads listings to Google BaseTM
Information on homes for sale in Massachusetts and other parts of New England are now accessible on Google Base as MLS Property Information Network announces it will upload its customer's listings to the national portal on an opt-in basis. More than 30,000 real estate professionals throughout New England participate in the multiple listing service, and it currently hosts approximately 64,000 active listings. MLS PIN has its own in-house developed system, H3MLS which offers many top-notch services such as an opt-in of listing transfers to local and national sites and publications at no additional cost to its participants.

The North Bristol County Association of REALTORS® voted recently to dissolve its current MLS and to participate in MLS PIN as its official multiple listing service.

Important changes to H3MLS
Based on Overwhelming Customer Feedback, we have applied the following changes to the H3MLS system:
Days On Market
We have added the Days On Market (DOM) to all search results to include the 1-line, Photo Summary, CMA, and Hotsheet Reports. Search results will display the full property history market time (the total time the property has been on the market).
We have also added Days On Market (DOM) to the 1-page and Full Reports. The 1-page will display the full property history market time and a pop-up link to view the Market History. The Full Report will display the market time breakdown (how long it has been listed under the current MLS#, how long the current office has listed the property, and the total time the property has been on the market). Each section on the market time will provide a pop-up link to view the market history, so you can more easily view how the totals were calculated.
Property History
We have added the Property History link  to the listing report page. This link is located in the upper right corner of the listing page next to the Public Record and Mortgage Calculator links.

New Active with a Kick-out or Right of 1st Refusal Status
Effective Wednesday, April 19th, we will incorporate a new status of Active with a Kick-out or Right of 1st Refusal to the H3MLS system. This status should be used only when a listing has a signed and accepted offer, but there is a "right of first refusal" (otherwise known as a "kick-out clause"). Upon a search, listings with this status will be reflected as such with the following icon: 
The procedure to change a listing to this status is the same as with an Active with a Flag status.
You must fill out an Active Status Request Form and select the option for "kick-out clause", indicating the length of time in the "deadline" field (for example: 48 hour kick-out clause), and fax it to our Customer Support Department.
If you have any questions with regard to the use of this status, please direct them to our Customer Support at 800-695-3000 option 1.
Important Change to DOM Calculation in the H3MLS System
In an effort to provide all MLS PIN subscribers and their clients with a more accurate picture of the market, the Board of Directors of MLS PIN have voted to modify the process in which days on market (DOM) are tracked and totaled in the H3MLS system.

Ferol Smith inducted into Delta Theta Chapter
of Alpha Sigma Lambda Spring 2006
MLS PIN staff person, Ferol Smith has recently been awarded the significant distinction of being one of the thirteen students at Assumption College Center for Continuing & Professional Education to be called to membership in the Delta Theta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda. She will be inducted in an April 7th ceremony.
Alpha Sigma Lambda is a national honor society for adult students. It honors dedicated students who, while skillfully handling their life responsibilities, achieve and maintain high scholastic standards.
Ferol has been employed with MLS Property Information Network, Inc. for the past five (5) years and was recently transitioned to the position of Data Acquisition Technician.

Effective January 1, 2006 MLS PIN will increase the cost from $1.50 to $3.00 for additional listing photos that are mailed to MLS PIN.
We encourage you to instead upload the photos yourself via the H3MLS system.
Photos uploaded through H3MLS are free of charge up to a maximum of 30 photos!
