For the listing process to go smoothly, it’s important to know the rules regarding filing them. Once you receive a signed, executed listing agreement to sell a single-family home, residential condo, 2- to 4-family residential building, or vacant land, you are required to file the listing with MLS PIN within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. If the seller, at their initiative, asks you to withhold or delay the filing of a mandatory listing, then the requirement above may be excused—but only if, by the same 24-hour deadline for filing, you file with us a seller-signed Non-MLS Listing Form or Delayed Listing Form.
